Information You Submit
Search Terms
When a name, location, or other search term is entered into a partner-powered search box, that query is sent to the third-party provider that runs the tool. Red Lake County Inmate Population does not store those search terms in its own records.
Messages
If you send an email or contact message, the contents and reply details may be kept long enough to answer and manage the request. Messages are not shared outside the site's operation unless disclosure is required by law.
Information Collected Automatically
Like most websites, the site may receive basic technical information when pages load.
- IP address and approximate network location.
- Browser name, version, and language settings.
- Device type, screen characteristics, and operating system.
- Pages viewed, links used, and time spent on pages.
- Referring website or search engine, when available.
- Date and time stamps tied to site activity.
Cookies
Cookies and similar tools may be used to understand site traffic, remember basic preferences, support advertising, and measure performance. Browser settings can block or delete cookies, though some tools may work differently after that.
How Information Is Used
- To keep pages available, secure, and reasonably fast.
- To pass search requests to the appropriate partner provider.
- To understand which Red Lake County jail, court, and locator pages are useful to visitors.
- To find technical problems, broken links, or abuse of the site.
- To support advertising or sponsored search tools that may be relevant to visitors.
Government Records and Outside Links
The site links to jail rosters, sheriff pages, Tri-County Community Corrections resources, Minnesota court tools, the MNDOC public viewer, federal locators, ICE ODLS, VINE, and third-party search services. Once you leave this site, the destination site's privacy notice and terms control.
Requests made directly to a Minnesota public office, such as Tri-County Community Corrections or another records custodian, may be handled under the Minnesota Government Data Practices Act and related laws. Those government data practices are separate from this site's privacy practices.
Advertising partners may use their own cookies or identifiers to measure ads or personalize them across websites. That tracking occurs on their systems under their policies.
Who May Receive Information
Personal information is not sold as a standalone list. It may be disclosed to limited categories of recipients when needed.
- Search partners that process search-box queries.
- Analytics vendors that measure site use and performance.
- Advertising networks and related measurement providers.
- Law enforcement, courts, regulators, or government bodies when a valid subpoena, court order, warrant, or other legal requirement applies.
Security
Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are used for the site. No internet-connected system can be promised as breach-proof, so security is handled as a best-effort obligation rather than a guarantee.

The site is intended for adults. It does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If a minor submitted information, a deletion request may be sent so the issue can be reviewed.
Your Choices and Rights
- Ask for a copy of personal information held by the site, if any.
